This strategy is expected to result in greater opportunities for Infogain to deliver complete solutions in the Oracle ERP space to its clients, including full life cycle implementations, migrations to Oracle Apps 11i, development and customization of reports and interfaces, pre- and post-implementation audits, and post-implementation support both onsite and offshore. The acquisition brings Infogain's strength to close to 1,000. It also expands Infogain's Peoplesoft capabilities to include university implementations of Peoplesoft HRMS. Infogain brings functional, technical and project management expertise for effective, high quality implementations.

The Pune team will operate as a division of Infogain and will be headed up by Mr. Rajan Bhatnagar, currently Managing Director of Spider Systems. The 20,000 square-foot center in Pune will offer Infogain access to the current team of 150 and a new talent pool. Plans for expanding what types of work are done in Pune will unfold with Infogain's continuing growth and will enable Infogain to capitalize on talent from different regions.

The Spider business will function as an Infogain company and will ultimately be fully integrated into Infogain's operations, with the former Spider headquarters functioning as an ERP center of excellence.
